We’ve come to expect a certain level of spontaneity in our visits to the cabin, and even through our planned trips were conservative and our first trip wasn’t anticipated until early April, the combination of finding the couch early (and needing to transport it) and wanting to check in on the cabin after most of the winter was over led us to make a trip in February.

Our cabin-building adventure continues. Plans were in place and materials purchased, and in April 2014 we set out on our first trip to build the basic 120 square foot structure. Challenges galore made for an adventurous trip, but we returned victorious!
